This sessions story hour's are all about animals. Our first theme was cows. We had 13 children and 4 adults at story hour today.  We opened with singing "Baby Shark." Our first story today was

Cock-A-Doodle-Moo! by Bernard Most The rooster has lost his voice and must teach the cow to cock-a-doodle-doo so, the farm will wake up. After the story we pretended to be cows in the morning and sang "The Mouth of the Cow" to the tune of "Wheels on the Bus." Our next story was

All about Sounds by Ruth Thomson In this story a cow is asleep in the middle of the road and no one can seem to wake it. After the story we pretended to be cows going to bed and sang "Cows in the bed." Our last story today was

Sixteen Cows by Lisa Wheeler Two ranchers sing songs to call their cows home at night. A tornado comes and takes away the fence that separates the two herds. Will the ranchers be able to call their cows home? We made cow hats for our craft today.
